LEARNING RESOURCES
- While the new materials are being
developed, teachers will continue to use
the existing materials specially the
Academic Bridging Modules and other
reference materials that are available in
the DepEd Learning Resources Portal
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
- JHS learners will now study higher English,
Science and Math including digital
competencies, teachers need to access these
facilities ex. science / computer laboratories.
- CLC’s teachers may need to coordinate with
nearest schools to access these facilities
LEARNING ASSESSMENT
- ALS TASK FORCE has completed
development of (FLT)based on the 6
learning strands of the new
curriculum
- Teachers will make use of the latest
approved FLT, ABL, and RPL

Beginning June 3, 2019, ALS programs are
required to implement the 2019 ALS K to 12
BEC
Learners who wish to enroll in ALS sessions
later than June 3 can still be accommodated
Enhanced ALS program duration will be
longer than the old curriculum
ALS teachers should register their learners
in the LIS.
A & E test will be based on the new
curriculum that include higher competencies
in English, Science, Math & Digital
Citizenship
Given the more complex academic
competencies in the JHS, ALS teachers will
likely need to seek additional support from
English, Science and Math specialists
