Introduction
Our Research is on cell phone companies. A mobile is a device that can access to
cellular radio system so it can be used over a wide area without a physical connection
to a network. So we selected two giant from the world that are Apple and Samsung. So
we research on Apple and take Samsung as a competitor.
Statement of problems
Apple phones are so expensive. But they do not fulfil all the needs of their customers.
They do not provide all the features on this price tag as like other companies provide
like Samsung. Apple is enclosed in his circle customers cannot share apps with any
android phone. On the other hand, Samsung user can share anything with other
phones.
Background
Apple was founded in April 1976 by Steve Wozniak, then 26 years old, and Steve jobs,
21, both college dropouts. Their partnership began several years earlier when Wozniak,
a talented, self-taught electronics engineer, began building boxes that allowed him to
make long-distance phone calls for free. The iPhone is line of smart phones design and
marketed by apple.inc. All generations of the iPhone use apple’s ios mobile operating
system software. The first generation iPhone was released on June 29.2007 and new
hardware iterations with new ios releases have been released since. Apple has released
twelve generations of iPhone models each accompanied by one of the twelve major
releases of the ios operating system. The first generation iPhone was a gsm phone and
established design precedents such as a button placement that has persisted throughout
all releases and a screen size maintained for the next four iterations.
iPhone upgrade program
The iPhone Upgrade Program is a 24-month program designed for consumers to be able to get the latest iPhone every year, without paying the
whole price up-front. The program consists of "low monthly payments", where consumers will gradually pay for the iPhone they have over a
24-month period, with an opportunity to switch (upgrade) to the new iPhone after 12 months of payment have passed. Once 12 months have
passed, consumers can trade their current iPhone with a new one, and the payments are transferred from the old device to the new device, and
the program "restarts" with a new 24-month period.

Samsung was founded as a grocery trading store on March 1,
1938, by Lee Byung-Chul. He started his business in Taegu, Korea,
trading noodles and other goods produced in and around the city
and exporting them to China and its provinces. Samsung first
entered the electronics industry in 1969 with several electronics-
focused divisions—their first products were black-and-
white television. During the 1970s the company began to export
home electronics products overseas. At that time Samsung was
already a major manufacturer in Korea, and it had acquired a 50
percent stake in Korea Semiconductor. The 2000s witnessed the
birth of Samsung’s Galaxy smart phone series, which quickly not
only became the company’s most-praised product but also
frequently topped annual lists of the best-selling smartphones in the
world. Since 2006, the company has been the top-selling global
manufacturer of televisions. Beginning in 2010, the Galaxy series
expanded to tablet computers with the introduction of the Galaxy
Tab.

Conclusion

In closing, our team has presented our findings relating to the Apple vs. Samsung case
and how it evidences the flaws and strengths of companies. We identified several
problems of companies within the organization. But we find that people those are using
apple are very satisfied with their phones. Because apple is a status symbol. But on the
other had people who are using Samsung they are not satisfied with their phones.
Because Samsung phones are very weak it can easily break. But by the statics Samsung
is a very stronger brand then iPhone. As we said iPhone customers are satisfied by their
phones. So we conclude that both companies have a different place in the market.
