Lecturer: Dan Quayle was George Bush’s vice –

president

Good Notes: Quayle _ Bush’s V.P.

Poor Notes: DQ – GB’s V.P.

Remember:
The dash (_) can symbolize the verb ``was`` or any
other form of ``to be``.

Avoid using the abbreviations that are not familiar

and that you won’t remember if you read your note
later.
e.g. GB (for George Bush) you might not remember
later.
However V.P. is familiar abbreviation and stands for
vice-president.
