Background of the Study
Mastering reading is important for young
learners to master another English skills
Young learners need reading anytime,
anywhere, and any situation, especially in
obtaining information
In several situations, reading need to be done
effectively according to the learners’ purposes
Several aspects above require a good reading
comprehension

 Using of Extensive Reading activity was able to improve the
quality of the teaching and learning process of reading in the
research setting
