PLACEBO SEPTILIN
CONCLUSION- Within the limitations of the study, patients with chronic periodontitis harbouring
A. actinomycetemcomitans, P.gingivalis, T. forsythia & T.denticola in their subgingival biofilm may
benefit from the systemic administration of SEPTILIN as an adjunct to SRP. However, further long
term longitudinal trials considering other periodontopathic microorganisms are required to confirm
the effectiveness of SEPTILIN in periodontitis.
