    This study assessed nursing and medical student's knowledge and attitudes toward work-related hazards at Umm Al Qura University. The results showed that 76% of students had a moderate level of psychological empowerment. Nursing students had higher knowledge levels than medical students about some hazards like mechanical and physical factors. However, medical students had higher stress and biological hazard exposure risks. The study concluded that both nursing and medical students are at risk of occupational hazards during clinical practice like needle sticks and blood exposure, which can lead to infections. It recommended developing educational materials on occupational health and safety measures.
