+ Tanning continues to remain extremely


popular in North America.
+ These indoor tanning facilities use
tanning beds or booths that contain
fluorescent lamps, which artificially
replicate the sun by producing ultraviolet
radiation to create a cosmetic tan.
+The costs are relatively inexpensive and
tanning salons are easy to find.
