INTRODUCTION
 Hero MOTOCORP Ltd. Is the worlds largest
manufacturer of two wheelers , based in India.
 The company was a joint venture between India’s Hero
Group and Honda Motors Company , Japan that began
in 1984 later in 2011 it turn into Hero Motors Ltd.
 In 2011 the company achieved the coveted position of
being the largest two- wheelers manufacturing
company in terms of unit volume sales in a calander
year by a single company .
VISION
 The story of Hero Honda began with a simple vision
that of a mobile and empowered India , powered by its
bikes. The company new identity – Hero MOTOCORP
Ltd. – reflect its commitment towards providing sturdy
and solid world class mobility solution with a renewed
focus on steadily moving ahead and expanding the
footprint in the global arena .
MISSION
 HERO MOTOCORP Ltd. mission is to become a global
enterprise fulfilling its customers need and aspiration
for mobility, solidity and sturdiness.
 The company aim to set benchmark in technology,
style and quality to convert its customers into brand
advocates.
 The company provides an engaging environment for
its people to perform to their true potential. Its aim to
continue its focus on value creation and enduring
relationships with its partners.
MANUFACTURING
 HERO MOTOCORP has five manufacturing facilities
based at DHARUHERA, GURGAON , NEEMRANA ,
HARIDWAR, and HALOL under Green field stage.
 These plants together have a production capacity of
over 7.6 million 2-wheelers per year.
 HERO MOTOCORP has a sales and service network
with over 6000 dealership and service points across
India.
 It has a customers loyalty program since 2000, called
the Hero Honda Passport Program which is now
known as Hero GOODLIFE Program.

 WEAKNESS
 Absence in the premium bike segments.
 High import for its spare parts I.E over 30% import.

 Opportunity
 Two- wheeler segment is one of the most growing
industries.
 Export of bikes is limited I.E, untapped international
markets.
 Threats
 Strong competition from Indian as well as
international markets.
 Better public transports will affect two- wheelers sales.
CONCLUSION
 The company has been able to increase its sales and
profit during the years. The operation of the company
has there for improved. The net profit ratio has
increased which proved that the company has been
able to control the cost effectively. Hero MOTOCORP
Ltd. Holding the highest share in Two-wheelers
Market .
