    Macro-Meso Site Analysis: Region/Province/Town

    The Region
    The project is in the area of Davao City, Davao Del Sur of
    Mindanao Region. The region serves as a melting pot of many
    cultural groups, considered as a region of royalties for it is blessed
    with a lot of tourist destinations. The Francisco Bangoy
    International Airport that serves tourism is a little far from the
    location of the site, but with how the circulation of the
    transportations and traffic flow in the city, the travel from town to
    town wouldn’t be much of an issue.
    Davao Region is located on the southeastern portion of Mindanao,
    comprises 5 provinces: Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte, Davao
    Oriental and Davao del Sur. The region has six cities, namely: Davao,
    Digos, Mati, Panabo, Samal, and Tagum; and 43 municipalities,
    grouped into 11 congressional districts and divided into 1,162
    barangays.
    Scope and Limitations

     This study is an attempt on how a project like this would really benefit the
    development of the city and how effective it is for the overall tourism of the
    place. In addition this would also target the behavioral patterns of the
    community on how they would affect the said project for this would involve
    the social interaction of the residents and tourists around the area.
