Pakistan and the Muslim world

1947 to 1953:
BACKGROUND:
During the first world war, an intense and
fearless movement was lunched by the Muslims of India in
1919 to1920 for the safeguard of the institution of Caliphate.
Turkey was a Muslim state and the Muslim of India were in
favored of Turkey. The Muslim of India were worried about
the safety of the Islamic center such as (Makah and Madina )
Islamic culture and civilization.

BACKGROUND:
By area Pakistan the 33 largest country in the
world (881,931 sq. km including northern areas). Pakistan is
the second largest Muslim-majority country in terms of
population (after Indonesia) and is only Muslim majority
country to have tested nuclear weapons.

Geographical position of Pakistan:
Pakistan is situated in the center of the
Islamic countries of Africa and Asia. It is linked to the Muslim countries
through land and see routs and not only its geographical background but its
geographically centrality necessities that it support the unity of Muslim world.

Pakistan came into being as a result of the urge
felt by the Muslim of the subcontinent to secure a territory where
Islamic ideology and way of life could be predicated and
demonstrated to the world. A cardinal feature of this ideology is
to make Muslim brotherhood a living reality.

Similarity:
The similarity of culture and civilization has also brought
Pakistan closer to the Muslim world. The similarity of faith, culture and
thinking has firmly attached Pakistan with the Muslim block. Therefore
Pakistan has sincerely endeavored from the very beginning of its
independence to bring the Muslim Ummah on one platform.

Pakistan and Iran are close neighbors ,sharing 909km
international border in the western side.
Iran was the first country to recognize Pakistan when it was
established in 1947.
Pak-Iran relations started when the prime minister of
Pakistan visited Iran in 1949 and as a return shah of Iran
visited Pakistan with some cabinet members.

In May 1950 a treaty of friendship was singed between
prime minister Liaqat ali khan and shah of Iran .
Pakistan opened its first embassy in Iran city Tehran.
In 1955 Baghdad pact known as CENTO was signed
among Pakistan,Iran,Iraq,Turkey and UK(United kingdom) for
mutual cooperation and protection.

Afghanistan is a mountainous country in the Central Asia
and situated in the north of the KPK province of Pakistan.
The Pakistan-Afghan border was drown in 1893 by sir
Mortimer Durand.
when Pakistan became Afghanistan claimed on the
boundary of Pakistan and demand some territory of KPK and
Baluchistan.

Pakistan joined the United Nation on 30 September 1947.
Afghanistan opposing Pakistanis entry into U.N.O and
considered Pakistan is a colony of British.
However in 1948 the government of Pakistan decided to
develop diplomatic relations with Afghanistan .
Mr.I.I.Chundriger was appointed the first Ambassador of
Pakistan to Afghanistan and afghan government send sardar
wali khan as their first Ambassador to Karachi.

1947 to 1953:
Afghanistan initiated a hostile propaganda complain
against Pakistan its press and Radio.the main purpose of this
anti-Pakistan propaganda was to compel Pakistan to accede
to the demand of pakhtoonistan.
Since 1949, a series of armed skirmishes and firefights
have occurred along the Durand Line. The Pakistani Embassy
in Kabul and consulates in Kandahar and Jalalabad were
attacked by mobs.

After independence Turkey extended its recognition to
the new state of Pakistan as a sovereign and independent
country.
The first agreement between Pakistan and Turkey was
concluded in 1950 by which both countries give scholarship to
the students of each others countries.
Another agreement was reached between the two
countries which emphasized the defense matters between
Pakistan and Turkey.
