    Mrs. B, a 20-year-old student, was admitted to the orthopaedic ward at 8:00 am after a motorcycle accident where she injured her right knee. On examination, she had deformity, hematoma, swelling and a laceration on her right knee with tenderness and limited range of motion. X-rays showed a rupture of the right knee tendon. Her blood tests were normal. She was given IV fluids, analgesics, antibiotics and advised to rest with wound care and knee exercises. She was also referred to an orthopaedic surgeon.

    Mechanism of trauma :
    The patient is riding a motorcyle with moderate speed, wearing helmet.
    Suddenly hit by car with high speed from the opposite direction
    History of Trauma :
     There was no history of unconscious
     There was no history of nausea and vomiting
     There was no history of alcohol and drugs consumption
     There was no history of previous medication
