The study will enable residents of Suyoc, Mankayan, Benguet to have access to a cheaper natural antioxidant tea, acting as a basis for local product development. The antioxidant activity will be evaluated using three assays: DPPH radical scavenging activity, hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity, and reducing power. Results from these assays will help quantify the antioxidant potential of the ayosep tea.
