INTRODUCTION
 Amazon Company was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 in
United States.
 It is now the largest MNC that concentrates on the E-
commerce, Cloud Computing Service, Artificial
Intelligence, electronics etc.
 Amazon is one of the largest corporates in terms of the
technology in the world.
 The launching of Amazonfresh was done by amazon in the
year 2007 and it took around five years for the company to
analyse the business model.
 This service of amazon will help the customers to shop the
groceries online. Amazon Fresh came to India on 23 august.
 By launching amazon fresh to India Amazon is trying to compete with the
Flipkart which is now all backed up with Walmart
 With the help of the Amazon fresh, customers will be able to get basic items
within less time period.
 Amazon Fresh will pave the way of customers in getting fresh fruits and
vegetables instantly.
 The service in the amazon fresh involves either attended delivery or
unattended delivery. In the first option, consumers are being delivered
groceries in plastic bags and have to be received by the consumer by
himself/herself. In the latter option, the groceries will be delivered to the
consumers in their home.
 The company also provides the 2-hour delivery system for the customers
 Amazon is trying to expand the amazon fresh to more and more cities.

 During initial stages the sales of online groceries in US were only about
1.3%.

 Customers and had to specify delivering windows and they have to be


at home at the time of delivery.

 Some people like the traditional way of purchasing the groceries.

 Online grocers should be having their own logistic infrastructure.


 Online grocers also lacked legitimacy as the people are not
ready to invest in the industry.

 People are overly concerned about the quality of the


products which hinders them in purchasing online.

 Consumers should also pay delivery charges which adds


cost to the product.

 For one particular order in an area the delivery van has to


travel so long that this indeed will reduce the output

order in advance should be sorted and the product
should be received within the hours after delivering by

which gives fast services.

 The online method should be more interactive which


gains more customer attraction like a product should
have a review chart, rating chart and should have
proper feedback after every delivery.

 They should have their own logistic infrastructure


which avoid miss shipping of the product.
 As Amazon Fresh believes in long term run it should attract
more investors with the help of good market capture and good
services.

 In case of meat and fish the company should make a


partnership with the local trader which provides the meat and
fish to the doorstep but in the name of Amazon Fresh.

 They should provide free sample complimentary product to


show the quality of the product.

 They should send message to the consumer at the time of


shipment of the product and when the product is going to reach
the destination

the consumer to gain trust that e-payments as safe now.

 After the payment is done the customers must receive a


payment conformation email or chat in the phone for any
future mis happens.

 They should make navigation track which tells where the


product is.

 Interfaces should be made more attractive which entertain


and engage the people at same time

of products at fair prices.

 Amazon often provides free samples to the


customers with every order.

 The company also joined hands with local


tradesmen to sell products such as meat, fish etc.

 Amazon also provided wide variety of delivery


options depending upon the customers.

SUGGESTIONS

 After analysing the case study, we found that Amazon


Fresh is working brilliantly against its competitors and
the trend of online grocery is increasing day by day
because 90% of people are busy in their work.

 Some added suggestion after analysing the case study


are:

 The Amazon Fresh somewhat reduce its price as


compared with the total market.
 They are also charging high delivery charges which further
increases the price.

 Amazon Fresh is only available in the selected cities, So the


people which are living in the non-selected area will be unable to
avail the benefits. So, the company must focus on further
expansion.

 For one order the company should arrange electronic scooter like
vehicles which are efficient.

 Sometimes the order gets delayed which affect both the food
products and the consumers
CONCLUSION

 In conclusion, the Amazon Fresh believed on the


endeavour of long fail to meet customer basic needs
and increase the customer loyalty and brand value.
Amazon Fresh is following the same path of the online
giant Amazon.com. The success of Amazon Fresh lies
in its operation and how well it is connected with
Amazon’s intelligent sell high margin ecosystem.

 So, it is important to Amazon Fresh to increase its


ecosystem and expand to another city which provides
them more customers, more customers mean more
profit to the company, high population also makes the
operation more cost effective.
