The restaurant
• Nobu is known for its innovative take on traditional
Japanese food. The restaurant itself has these
architectural and design elements that infuse
traditional Japanese culture with a modern twist.
The menu
• There’s a lot of options on their menu. All of the fish is super fresh
and they even fly it in from Tokyo’s Tsukiji market. This dedication to
having the right ingredients results in the fresh and high quality sushi
that you often only find in Japan.
Starters
• To start, we had this crispy okra with garlic ponsu, and I usually don’t
like okra but the way they prepared it made it so good.
• Here we have the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The rice is fried and its
very warm when you get it, and then there’s a generous amount of
tuna on top.
Main course
• Here’s a Chilean sea bass with miso… and this was
actually the best thing I had at Nobu.
Dessert
• For dessert, we had a chocolate harumaki, which is a
spring roll and it’s filled with chocolate and caramel
and cream. You get special dipping sauces with each
one, which was caramel, hot fudge and this
strawberry compote.
Verdict
• Right now, my first time eating at Nobu, 100%
