WASTE DISPOSAL
-is a blanket term for
collecting, processing
or recycling waste
materials.

solid waste management program,
creating the necessary institutional
mechanism and incentives ,

and providing penalties,
appropriating funds therefore, and

Cause and Effects
Soil,
water and air pollution can all be
a result of improper waste disposal
and occurs when either of them
become contaminated with hazardous
materials. Not only does this contribute
to the creation of a greenhouse gas
effects but also cause significant harm
to marine and wildlife.
Exposure to hazardous waste can
affect human health, children being
more vulnerable to these
pollutants. In fact, direct exposure
can lead to diseases through
chemical exposure as the release
of chemical waste into the
environment leads to chemical
poisoning.
MITIGATION
-Segregation and storage of
different types of waste in different
containers, skips or stockpiles to
enhance reuse or recycling of
materials and their proper
disposal.
REDUCING – try to reduce the amount
of waste you produce, as this is the best
way to help the environment.
