How Rock and

Roll Changed
My Life: The
Power of Music
Nothing is more fun
than listening to music. I
believe it has the power to
affect people and change their
lives in different ways.
Everytime I listen to
music, I felt like I escaped from
reality. When I am sad, I listen
to mellow tunes that help me
feel comfortable in my bubble.
And whenever I feel weak, it
boosts my energy to get
through the day.
I am the type of person who loves music so
bad, yet don't even have the talent in singing,
dancing and playing musical instruments. To
be honest, I feel sad and keep asking myself
why I am so unlucky not to have those
amazing talents? I felt useless, but I realized
that it's not a hindrance for me to keep loving
music. I am so thankful that I became a fan of
my Idols who are gifted in many ways. They
makes me happy and motivates me in
achieving my dreams. Hoping that someday I
will meet them in person and will attend their
live concerts. I just can't imagine the world
without music.
I have found that the thrill of
listening to music is enhanced by the
way you perceived the song. People
keep asking me, "Why do you love K-
Pop Songs when you don't even
understand the lyrics?" well for me
listening to music is not all about the
lyrics, it is also about appreciating the
rhythm and melody that the song
offers. I listen to a wide variety of music
and I try to develop a connection to
every songs. Some lyrics can remind me
of painful experiences or happy
memories in my life. It also relieves the
emotions that are bringing me down
Music became a big part of my life.
When I am having a hard time in
sleeping it helps me a lot. Whenever I
get bored and felt alone, music is always
there to entertain me. We also play
music with my classmates during a
joyride going home from school. Going
along with the beat of the music makes
us dance and forget all the problems
that we had. Music is one of the things
who mold me on who I am today and I
feel so blessed than anyone else.
