    Reynaldo Hernandez is an art teacher. His students learn different forms of arts from him
    such as painting, sculpture, mosaic and a lot more but he excels in origami (the Japanese art of
    paper folding). He was asked by the organizers to put up an exhibit in the town fair. Many
    people are expected to come to the fair as part of the town’s fiesta celebration.
    On the eve of the fair, Reynaldo tried to select his best origami pieces for exhibition. A
    strange voice told him to look for a piece of silver foil paper and make a silver origami dove.
    Reynaldo didn’t know why but he actually looked for a shiny piece of silver foil from his things.
    He asked why he had to work with the shiny silver paper when it didn’t fold as easily or
    neatly as the crisp multicolored papers. The voice ordered that he must do it. He must give it
    away the following day to a special person. The teacher did what the voice commanded him
    just the same.
    The following day, Reynaldo was surprised to see a man standing in front of him. He had
    never seen him before and yet something told him that the man was the special person the
    voice was referring to. The teacher got the silver foil bird and placed it in the man’s hand.
    Reynaldo told the man that he must take it. The dove is the symbol of peace.
    There were tears in the man’s eyes. After taking a deep breath the man spoke. He said
    that his wife died a month ago. Today was their silver wedding anniversary.
    He continued that now he knows that his wife is at peace. She told him before she died
    that she will send him a beautiful silver wedding anniversary present in the form of a dove.
    And that’s how Reynaldo learned to listen very carefully to his heart and to the little
    voice that comes from within.
