INTRODUCTION
Bandhan Bank Ltd.
is an Indian banking and financial services company
headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Bandhan, which
started as a micro-finance company in 2001, received
banking licence by Reserve Bank of India in
2014. Bandhan Bank became the 8th largest bank (27
March 2018) in India by market capital ( 569520
Cr). According to the Annual Report of the bank of
2016-17, the Bank has 978 branches, 2,764 DSCs
(Doorstep Services) and 460 ATMs and 15,185 Mini-
ATMs (Hand-Held Devices).

SCOPE
 Bandhan Bank is one of India’s new universal banks, focussed
on serving the unbanked and underbanked population in India.
 During FY 2017-18, the bank consolidated their bond of trust
with customers with an expanded range of offerings, benefits
and services.
 They grew by expanding their reach, onboarding more
customers and ensuring customer satisfaction by catering to
their requirements.
 Their strategy focuses on the creation of long-term value for all
their stakeholders.
