Introduction Of Bullock Cart

 In the present scenario, Animal drawn carts especially

bullock carts, are the oldest mode of transportation,
existing in India and in few other countries since the past
unknown.
 the popular concept that bullock carts will disappear with
the development of society.
Why We Decided To Do This Project ?

 Bullock cart is a medium of transportation used in our

country from ages.
 It takes a lot of time to dump the materials from the
bullock cart. To reduce transportation cost materials such
as sand, cement bags, sugarcane bagasse are transported
using bullock cart.
 With the use of mechanical mechanism we tend to ease
the dumping produce which intend reduces the work load
of the human being.
 Materials like sugarcane bags', crops, food grains, sand
bags and waste materials are unloaded safely using our
project.
 Materials are breakable then we should take more care
while unloading.
Mechanism Used For Bullock Cart

 1) Tilting
 The base of the bullock cart is rotated with the help of
bevel gears and axle drive mechanism operated by the
handle and lever.
 2) Lifting
 The base of the bullock cart is lifted with the help of
universal joint which is connected to lead screw which is
operated by rotating the handling
Tilting Mechanism

Lifting Mechanism
Working Principal

 Tilting of the bullock cart tray by handle operating,

through bevel gears.
 Lifting of the tilted tray by handle operating through lead-
screw mechanism.
Needs Of Bullock Cart Mechanism

 It is very sustainable method of communication where

road connectivity is poor and time is not a limiting factor.
 It will help to increase agricultural products with
minimized loss.

 Shaft
 Wheels
 Jack
 Metal sheet
 Square pipe
 Pedestal bearing
 Knuckle joint
 L-section Engle
Lead Screw

 Large load caring capacity

 Smooth and noiseless
 Radial motion to linear motion
 For Lifting the cart
 Length : 1 ft
 Diameter : 25.4mm
 Pitch : 4mm
Bevel Gear

 For rotation of the cart

 Which perpendicular to each other
 90’ Degree Angle
 Transmit the power of Motion
Bevel Gear

Pitch : 6mm
Shaft

 To transmit the motion to gears and lead screw

 For rotation, the shaft is fixed to one of the bevel gear.
 A crank is an arm attached at right angles to a rotating
shaft by
 Length : 60cm
Wheels :-
 A wheel is used in this project of small bicycle. Which
carried out light load.
 Wheels are helpful to bullock cart moved one place to
another place.

Metal sheet :-
 A metal sheet is used in this project, Is so sustainable and
load can be carried out on the basis of selection of the
metal sheet’s thickness is we used .
Knuckle joint

 A knuckle joint is a
mechanical joint used to
connect two rods which are
under a tensile load, when
there is a requirement of
small amount of flexibility, or
angular moment is necessary.
 There is always axial or
linear line of action of load.
Advantages

 Its helpful to farmers to carry a Agricultural instruments

 Useful for Small industry
 In Hospital,Railway station, and etc public places for
Garbage collection and Dumping it.
 Its Tilt 360’ degree so we can easily dump it to any
direction
 Its goes move up and down
Disadvantages

 Its not carry a heavy load due to small size

 Its Has heavy Structure
