might help Bill reduce turnover among the employee? Job design for motivation • Job enlargement -Refers to broadening type of task -So that, when using this design of job, every employee that work on Bill company can get new knowledge. -The way to get a new knowledge, when doing a job rotation -When some employee do the job rotation and they involve a new department every week and they also can get new knowledge or skills that can help other department when other department do not enough employee because of leave . - Because of that, employee become happy when get new knowledge • Job enrichment -Explain about the worker has empowering to make a decision making about their job. -According to Herzberg’s have two factor theory that increase the motivation of employee, that is intrinsic aspect of work like meaningful of task and extrinsic reward such as pay (Herzberg’s, 1959) -From of these factor theory we can conclude, when employee get task meaningful and get extra pay it can increase motivation of someone. -Bill company should give recognition to their employee. So that, after give recognition to their employee, the employee become proud of himself then increase the performance.
