This document describes a proposed wireless SCADA monitoring system. The system would allow for real-time monitoring of process parameters from remote locations using wireless data transmission for increased security and lower costs compared to existing wired systems. Key aspects include using a Raspberry Pi to interface with sensors and transmit encrypted data via WiFi to a human-machine interface for monitoring. The system aims to provide data confidentiality, integrity and remote access with login credentials for secure supervisory control and monitoring of industrial processes.

Data confidentiality:- It ensures data is confidential during transmission over wireless networks. Data Integrity:-Data integrity ensures that the data cannot be accessed by an Unauthorized Viewer.
WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING
SYSTEM 3 Existing work The Existing data transmission takes over RS 232 protocol.
The existing technology is based on GPRS
technique with mobile network for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition
WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING
SYSTEM 4 Proposed work Embedded Wireless based secure monitoring of process parameters in real time.
WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING
SYSTEM 5 Description The proposed Security algorithm is to be performed in embedded system. Data confidentiality is achieved by Encryption & Decryption. Data integrity ensures that the data cannot be accessed by an Unauthorized Viewer. WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING SYSTEM 6 Working Process •We are using RASPBERRY Pi 3 (Model B) to interface between the sensor and HMI (Human Machine Interface). •There are two modes of connectivity from RASPBERRY Pi to PC. Modes are :- -Wireless transmission (Wi-fi) -Wired(Ethernet) •We are using inbuilt wi-fi to transmit data wirelessly between RASPBERRY Pi and HMI(Human Machine Interface) WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING SYSTEM 7 •RASPBERRYPi will be connected to local HOTSPOT(Internet connection/No internet Connection)
•HMI will be connected to the same HOTSPOT to
receive the output data of sensors from RASPBERRY Pi.
•Toaccess the data in HMI the output will be generated
on HTML(Hyperlink Text Markup Link).
•Using LOGIN CREDENTIALS data will be accessed.
WIRELESS SCADA MONITORING
SYSTEM 8 Cyber Security •Data received over IP(Internet Protocol) address.
•Access limited from HOTSPOT.
•GUI (Graphical User Interface) needs LOGIN CREDENTIALS to access data.
