Strategy /Idea: Segment accounts for 92% of the two-wheeler


market in India in terms of sales.

 With the launch of Nano (Rs 100,000 + taxes), the spill over will
happen from two-wheeler market to Nano.

The engineering team achieved the target by implementing an


innovative design and reducing cost for each and every component
of the car.

 The car should be built on a different platform than conventional
ones.
 It must be meeting all the safety and regulatory requirements.
