    For example goals describe what schools are expected to
    accomplish.

    OBJECTIVES

    Objectives are stated in observable and


    measurable terms and are more specific
    than goals.

    AIMS OF NATIONAL
    EDUCATION POLICY (19982010)
    Attaining respectable level of literacy by universalizing
    education.
    Making arrangements for providing quality education and
    reducing the gender disparities at all levels.
    Encouraging private investment.
    Making education purposeful and job oriented.
    Up grading the quality of higher education by encouraging
    internationally recognized research in universities.
    Evolving an efficient decentralized management structure.

    IMPLEMENTATION
    Formal and non-formal education to eradicate
    illiteracy.
    Technical and vocational centers and general
    education ( higher education).
    Linkages between university and industry.
    Computer education as a subject at secondary level.
    Nazira Quran from class I to VIII.
    Continuous evaluation system at elementary level.
