APQP Additional training
APQP Training can be found on the homepage. There are
multiple links and I recommend going through the training to fully
understand how APQP works. This powerpoint was not intended
to train personnel on APQP, but rather to show where training
can be found, how to have a part number added, and how to
setup a project according to the turbocharger groups standard.
The next few slides shows the basics of starting APQP
Turbocharging Systems
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Engineering has been tasked with starting the APQP projects
and making sure the Team Feasibility Commitment Form (TFCF)
is completed/signed before print releases.
Any new PN that is buy level needs to be entered into APQP
Turbine + compressor housings, wheels, and etc that are parts of a
full turbo are NOT considered buy level parts and do not need to be
entered into the APQP tool if a new part number is pulled.
New part numbers can be generated by the design engineer
