    beholdagreatimage...Thisimage'sheadwasoffinegold, hisbreastandhisarmsofsilver,hisbellyandhisthighsof brass,Hislegsofiron,hisfeetpartofironandpartofclay, Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, whichsmotetheimageuponhisfeet...andbrakethemto pieces. Andinthedaysofthosekings(Plural)shalltheGodof heavensetupakingdom,whichshallneverbedestroyed: andthekingdomshallnotbelefttootherpeople,butitshall breakinpiecesandconsumeallthesekingdoms,anditshall standforever.

    Andwhereasthousawest(5)thefeetandtoes,partof potters'clay,andpartofiron,thekingdomshallbedivided; butthereshallbeinitofthestrengthoftheiron,forasmuch asthousawesttheironmixedwithmiryclay.Andasthe toesofthefeetwerepartofiron,andpartofclay,sothe kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereasthousawestironmixedwithmiryclay,theyshall minglethemselveswiththeseedofmen:buttheyshallnot cleaveonetoanother,evenasironisnotmixedwithclay. AndinthedaysofthesekingsshalltheGodofheavenset up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdomshallnotbelefttootherpeople,butitshallbreak inpiecesandconsumeallthesekingdoms,anditshallstand forever.

    theboastfulwordswhichthehornwasspeaking;Ikeptlooking untilthebeast(Rome)wasslain,anditsbodywasdestroyed and given to the burning fire. As concerning the rest of the beasts,(theLion,Bear,Leopard)theyhadtheirdominiontaken away:yettheirliveswereprolongedforaseason(Chaldee: !znz, zeman,aseason)andtime(Chaldee: !R[,iddawn,atime).**
