Flushing Rate; Turnover Time; Total Annual Outflow There are too many variables involved and when combined with the constantly changing flows as a result of the Trent Severn Waterway's water drawing to estimate the total annual outflow - these characteristics are virtually impossible to calculate. A "pure" rate of 46 days has been calculated, but variables must be considered. Height Above Mean Sea Level: Lake Type: Thermal Properties: Coliform: Total E-Coli 368 m Oligotrophic Dimictic < 100 cfu/100mL [47 cfu/100 mL maximum noted] 0 < n < 22 cfu/100 mL [max recorded]

Common Fish Species: Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Lake Trout, Perch, Muskellunge Mammal, Bird, Etc: Deer, Bear, Moose, Beaver, Muskrat, Wolves, Foxes, Loons, Bald Eagles, including most animals and birds indigenous to the area This is a Trent-Severn Waterway reservoir lake. The Burnt River originates at Loon Lake. As a result some lake characteristics are very difficult to determine. Wenona Creek, Paynes Creek, Portage Creek, Three rivulets Shanty Creek [Miskwabi/Long Lake] water mixes with Loon Lake water before the Gregory Lane Culvert and flows into what is known as Stump Lake
