    Antique American clocks as well as later reproductions used these verge assemblies. PM verges are designed to fit exactly in the majority of clocks you will encounter. Below are some of the features which make these verges the perfect choice for your repair.

    Rivets are flush with saddle to minimize interference with the escape wheel teeth. Saddle holes are small to fit most pivot pins and are reinforced for long service. Wires are extra-long to fit any pendulum and are made of extremely flexible wire for repeated bending.
    Choosing a verge when you dont have a sample is a hit or miss proposition. At best you can get close. Determine the # of teeth on your escape wheel(first column). Then measure the span across the # of teeth (second column). Add the distance between two teeth to this span. This is the approximate distance between the pallet tips of the verge assembly.
