GRAND KNIGHTS MESSAGE evening. Keep in mind that this event is only open to Brother Knights. In May, the Hope for Children committee is also organizing a dinner theatre event at Famous People Players on Evans Avenue. It is on May 12th, the day before Mothers Day. Cost is $75 which includes prime rib dinner, and the performance by the Famous People Players. It is well worth the price, and what a wonderful way to show your wife or mother (or both) how much you appreciate them. We are also inquiring about cost for a kids meal. I can always be contacted at [email protected] or 416-799-0445. Vivat Jesus Paul Bryce Grand Knight

Brother Knights, This is proving to be a very busy month as was expected. Ticket sales for Clergy Appreciation have slowed, but hope that once you read this newsletter, you contact me to get some tickets. Also keep in mind that April 28th is our major fundraiser for St. Francis Table. Hurry to get tickets to this event. This coming October, I am once again planning to run in the Scotiabank Marathon to raise money for the Hope for Children Fund. The event is on Sunday, October 12th, and I would like to invite any other brother Knight to join me and help raise funds for Hope for Children. You dont have to be a runner, you can walk the 5 km, or do a half marathon (21 km) like I plan to do. It would be nice to get a team of Knights (4 to 8 brothers) to participate. For those who are able to raise $250 or more in donations, the registration fee will be waived. I sincerely hope that this year we can get a team of 8 walkers and runners to participate. Upcoming Events: April 21/22: Rose Sunday at St. Clements Church. Proceeds to support Right to Life programs in Toronto April 24th: Clergy Appreciation at Nativity of Our Lord. I still have tickets available, we have already sold 9, and it would be nice if we had a good showing of our council this year. Cost is only $25 and it will be a wonderful
