SHARKS PLAYSTATION THREE STARS OF THE GAME AWARDJoe Pavelski received the 2011-12 PlayStation Three Stars of the Game Award. Players received five points for every first star selection after each regular season game. No. 2 stars were given three points and the No. 3 star received one point. The three stars of each regular season game are chosen by the media covering the game, based on his performance that night. The three stars are recorded on the official scoresheet. On behalf of the winner, Sony Computer Entertainment America will present a check for $2,500 to the Sharks Foundation and Niemi will receive a PlayStation3 (PS3) system with a VIP pack of games. SHARKS FAN FAVORITE AWARDPatrick Marleau: For the second consecutive season, Patrick Marleau is the recipient of the Fan Favorite Award, which was determined by fan voting at sjsharks.com.
