    George Badey is the Democratic candidate for Congress running in the 7 District of Pennsylvania against Patrick Meehan. George has spent his entire 30 year career fighting for working people. As a trial lawyer, he took on Big Tobacco, the insurance industry, and pharmaceutical companies, who too often sacrifice the lives and well being of consumers for their bottom line. The people of Southeast Pennsylvania need a voice in Congress that will take on powerful institutions rather than protect them. George knows that more can be done to revitalize our local economies, protect our seniors, and safeguard woman's health issues. When George gets to Washington, he will fight for the people, not the powerful.
