Physical Activities Toward Health and Fitness 1 (PATHFit 1): Movement Competency Training

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Deadlines on the submission of assignment must be strictly observed. Assignments sent
belatedly would penalized as follows:
Submitted one day after the deadline -deduct 5% from marks awarded
Submitted two days after the deadline -deduct 10% from marks awarded
Submitted three days after the deadline -deduct 15% from marks awarded
Submitted four days after the deadline -deducts 20% from marks awarded
Submitted five days after the deadline -ZERO (0) marks for the assignment
MAJOR EXAMINATIONS
There are two examinations for PATHFit 2- the Midterm and Final Examinations, covering
the course’s key concepts, principles and application. The examinations schedules are based
on the campus calendar for AY 2023-2024. Written exam for midterm, and Performance task
as final exam.

COURSE POLICIES
1. Students are expected to conduct themselves ethically and adhere to the highest academic
integrity standards commensurate with their university enrolment and throughout their
educational endeavors at the university. Therefore, they will NOT involve themselves in
plagiarism, cheating, lying, or stealing and they will NOT tolerate those who do. Those
who breach the university’s academic integrity policy will face disciplinary action as per
University Student Manual.
2. Regular attendance is required for all students:
3. Students should wear appropriate attire during onsite class. (Male: P.E t- shirt, Jogging
Pants or Shorts and Rubber Shoes; Female: P.E t- shirt, Jogging Pants and Rubber
Shoes)
4. Students are expected to be well-groomed during classes.
5. Students are required to complete their assigned readings/ assignments before attending
the class. They should also participate actively in each discussion to maximize their
learning.
6. Students who arrive fifteen (15) minutes after the class’s official start time will be
considered tardy. Three (3) tardiness accumulations equal one (1) absence.
7. Students should refrain from eating, sleeping, leaving or making unnecessary noise
during class time.
8. Students should use their cellphones and other electronic devices only for only class-
related activities. They must mute their phones or electronic devices before the class
starts.
COURSE EXPECTATIONS
Your PATHFit 1 instructor will:
1. Provide you opportunities to learn the course content, learning activities, and teaching
strategies appropriate for the course’s level and nature.
2. Arrive prepared and on time for class.
3. Create an open learning environment where you can ask freely ask relevant subject-
matter questions.
4. Create an inclusive environment where all of you are treated with respect and courtesy.
5. Offer the necessary motivation for you to achieve your highest potential.
6. Grade and return your papers on time and provide individual, constructive feedback on
assignments.
7. Communicate honestly and openly with your relative class standing.
8. Be available and welcoming during scheduled consultation hours for students to ask
questions about the course.
