1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of smartphones?

Give
reasons.
Advantages: Smartphones allow easy communication, provide access to information
and entertainment, and enable productivity through apps and tools. They help in
keeping in touch with family, friends, and the world, offering convenience and
flexibility.
Disadvantages: Excessive use can lead to addiction, reduce face-to-face interaction,
and potential health issues like eye strain and poor posture. They may also cause
distractions and reduce productivity.
2. Is there anything you avoid doing because it might bring bad luck? Give
examples.
Some people avoid activities such as breaking a mirror, or crossing paths with a
black cat. Cultural beliefs may lead people to avoid certain numbers (like 13 in
Western culture) or actions (such as opening an umbrella indoors).
3. How often do you use your cell phone each day? Do you think we use
our phones too much ? Why ? Why not ?
I often use my phone for tasks such as checking messages, surfing the Internet, and
searching for information.
I think phones are used excessively, which can lead to dependency and affect
mental health. However, they can be helpful if they are used mindfully for essential
tasks and balanced with other activities.
4. What are your New Year's resolutions for next year ?
Common resolutions include improving health (such as doing exercise), focusing on

5. What decisions have you made about your future studies ?
Some decisions could involve choosing a specific major, planning to study abroad,
and learning a new language to prepare for a future career.

reasons.
Oldest children may be more responsible due to having more expectations from
family or taking care of younger siblings. However, responsibility and reliability can
vary among individuals.
7. What makes your hometown great ?
My hometown is great for this reason. It has beautiful natural scenery, with
mountains and rivers that attract tourists and provide a peaceful environment for the
residents. The sunsets here are especially breathtaking, creating a relaxing
atmosphere that makes people feel close to nature.
8. Would you prefer to live and work in the city or the country ? Why ?
I prefer to live in the city because it offers more job opportunities, access to
amenities, entertainment, and a faster pace of life. Ideal for those who enjoy dynamic
environments.
9. Would you prefer to be broke and happy or wealthy and unhappy ?
I prefer to be wealthy and happy because I think that wealth provides safety and
options, even if it doesn’t bring complete happiness.
10. Do you think "retail therapy" would be effective if you feel a bit down ?
Give reasons.
Retail therapy can provide temporary relief by boosting mood or giving a sense of
control. Buying something may provide comfort or excitement.
11. Do you prefer online or in-store shopping ? Why ? Why not ?
I prefer online shopping because it offers convenience, more variety, and the ability
to shop from home. It can save time and offer better deals.
12. What's your dream job ?
My dream job is to be a financial analyst. I am passionate about analyzing data,
studying market trends, and making strategic financial recommendations. I enjoy the
challenge of assessing financial health, identifying growth opportunities, and helping
businesses make informed decisions. Working as a financial analyst would allow me
to combine my analytical skills with my interest in finance, contributing to impactful
financial strategies and company success.
