    The teacher will play an audio clip (story) on the digital board. The students will listen to the audio
    clip carefully. Then they will solve a worksheet (multiple choice questions) based on the clip. Practice
    for the same will be given at school.

    ii) Speaking Skills: 22.08.2024 (Thursday) to 30.08.2024 (Friday)


    The students will have to speak 8 to 10 lines on any one of the topics given below.

    The students will solve the Mental Math questions related to Unit 1, 2, 3 & 4 from Oxford New
    Enjoying Mathematics.

    Integrated Theme
    I SUBJECT ENRICHMENT:
    1) Environmental Sensitivity: Paws for kindness (Individual Activity): 22.08.2024 (Thursday) to
    30.08.2024 (Friday)
    Students will click pictures with domestic animals while demonstrating kindness towards our furry
    friends. For eg: They can click pictures while feeding animals / taking care of them. They will take
    print out of the photograph on an A4 size paper and paste it in their theme notebook. On the day of
    the activity they will share their experience and talk about pet care, animal behaviour and the
    importance of showing kindness to animals. They will speak about it for one minute in the class.
    Students will be evaluated on the following criteria:
    a) Presentation b) Content c) Overall presentation

    2) Group Discussion: 22.08.2024 (Thursday) to 30.08.2024 (Friday)


    On the day of the Group discussion, the students will be divided into 6 groups. Each group will be
    shown a picture related to global warming. They are expected to discuss amongst themselves about the
    picture shown to their group by the teacher. The teacher will go to each group and evaluate the
    students. Each child is expected to contribute meaningfully towards the discussion. Students will be
    evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
    a) Communication skills; b) Listening skills; c) Knowledge of the topic; d) Team work
    II WRITTEN PAPER:
    a) Unit 3: My Neighbourhood; b) Unit 13: Living and Non-Living things; c) Unit 15: Animals
    d) Unit 14: Plants

    30.08.2024 (Friday)
    ● Open Day will be conducted on 05.10.24 (Saturday). Details of the same will be mentioned in
    the Event Circular of October 2024.
