Pakistan in dealing with problems of Poverty, unemployment and inequity of undeveloped

Opportunities for China:

China will be able to develop its western and North Western

Region with its full efficiency in the wake of CPEC. CPEC will help China to keep its focus

on Western Region for longer time and China can develop it under the banner of long time

projects. CPEC will help China with it’s economy. Cost of import to China will be lessened

to many folds if China utilizes Gawader port. South China Sea is the region of conflicts.

Violence in the South China sea is an imminent danger so China has a safe route of trade in

form of Gawader and CPEC.

Geography in CPEC is one of the most notable features. CPEC passes through some

difficult regions in China and Pakistan gaining a lot of attention. This project will run through

most of Pakistan starting from Gawadar in Baluchistan and ending Kashgar, western China,

while passing through parts of Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK province, Azad Kashmir and

GB in northern Pakistan to reach the Khunjrab Passed conciliation with Chinese Authorities

 The Eastern Alignment

 The Central Alignment

 The western Alignment

The eastern Alignment of the corridor originates from Gawadar, travel

parallel to the Makran coastal highway eastwards and then after passing through parts of

interior Sindh and Southern, Central and Northern Region of Punjab, it reaches Islamabad. It

extends to Hazara division KPK, this part of corridor will also run through Muzzaffarabad the

Should Pakistan Maintain CPEC Project:

China Pakistan Economic Corridor offer a

massive platform for China and Pakistan to promote regional connectivity, trade growth and

infrastructure. Pakistan views CPEC not only as an infrastructure and economic development

program as well as a key in initiative wide ranging implications for country’s domestic

economy and Social Makeup, but also a potential “Game Changer” in the regional situation.

This project also faces grave internal and external challenges such as root controversy,

militancy, religious extremism, competing narratives, media propaganda and synergy of

institutions. To make CPEC a suitable project that benefit Pakistan and whole of South Asia
in the long run, both the Chinese and Pakistani Governments need to address these challenges

through greater transparency of the CPEC project, as well as more conciliation with all stake

holders involved, so as to ease their concern profound implications of the grand project

CPEC has an imensive positive impact on Pakistan economy as well as society. CPEC is

serving as a new driving force beyond an economic growth of two to three percent a year and

predict that “ Chinese investment could push Pakistan GDP growth rate of above six percent

between 2016 to 2018”. It states that CPEC development in energy and infrastructure and

boosted agriculture output and external demands for exports and would push growth to 5.5%

in the final year ending in June 2018 and 5.8% in the final year 2018. Most importantly

CPEC is a great opportunity for Pakistan to alleviate poverty and provide employment

opportunities to the locals.

two countries China and Pakistan. This project about the construction of highway roads,

networks, railway lines and pipelines between these two countries. This project is also known

as north south economic corridor that is actually initiative of to develop the road trades and

transportation as well as there are a lot benefits of this corridor for both these countries. God

has bestowed the land of Pakistan with a lot of treasures and blessings while China knows

how to utilize these blessings in the right way to get benefited. So it has been expected that

this project cost 51 billion dollars will be so benefited for betterment of the economic

conditions of these republics. Moreover, there are a lot of China Pakistan Economic Corridor

benefits which we can just imagine for this time. These roads and highways project will

length 2442 kilometers that connect the Gawadar port of Pakistan and Northwestern China

Region of Xinjiang Uygur. One of the biggest and the foremost benefit of CPEC is about the

development and betterment of trade between China and Pakistan. They will trade for oil and

petroleum product as well as the pipeline will perform that transportation of gasses especially
