    Connecting to VDI

    High Level Overview


    Onboarding New User
    Fazeal Inc.
    High Level Process flow.
    1. Open url https://openvpn.fazeal.com:943/?src=connect and download VPN application
    2. Edit your hosts file. under C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\
    3. Download and install certificate to your system
    4. Connect to remote desktop using provided IP address of your VDI & relevant settings.
    Step -1. Download VPN application and sign in to connect.
    1. Open https://openvpn.fazeal.com:943/?src=connect
    2. Click on sign in via SAML
    3. Enter your credentials & complete 2FA authentication process
    4. Click on VPN connect v3 icon (according to your OS) to download the VPN application
    5. Click on yourself (user-locked-profile) to download the profile.
    6. Install the VPN application that you downloaded on step-4
    7. Once application is installed. Click on File and open the profile that you downloaded in step-5 click connect
    Step -2. Edit hosts file on your system
    1. Open command prompt with administrator privileges
    2. Type notepad and hit enter
    3. Open hosts file from this path C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\
    4. Add below entry and save the file
    5. 192.168.1.135 rdsgateway.fazeal.com
    Step -3. Install Certificate in your system
    1. Download and unzip the Certificate attachment fazeal-DC-FAZEAL-01-CA
    2. Unzip the attachment & double click on the certificate inside it.
    3. Click Install Certificate
    4. Select Local Machine & click Yes if prompted.
    5. Select Place all the certificate in following store
    6. Click brows and select Trusted Root Certification Authorities & click OK
    7. Click Next and Click Finish
    Step -4. Connect to your VDI using remote desktop
    1. Open remote desktop
    2. Click advance & click settings
    3. Click use these rdp gateway settings and enter rdsgateway.fazeal.com
    4. Make sure Bypass Rd gateway for local address is UNCHECKED
    5. Make sure that use my rd gateway credentials for the remote computer is CHECKED & click OK
    6. Click General tab and enter the IP address of your VDI
    7. Enter username as Fazeal\username
    8. Click Connect
