Automatic Transmission Fluid Additive
Application
®
HiTEC 419 additive is a versatile additive package that offers the ability to easily formulate high quality
®
automatic transmission fluids, using a wide variety of base stocks. Fluids formulated with HiTEC 419
additive have been approved by all of the major North American and European original equipment
®
manufacturers for both passenger car and commercial vehicle applications. HiTEC 419 additive combines
durable Zinc free chemistry, ensuring excellent clutch friction performance over many years, with a shear
stable dispersant polymethacrylate viscosity index improver. The result is a package which enables
straightforward blending of fluids capable of exceeding the requirements of the major North American and
European OEM service fill specifications.
Recommended Dosage
® ®
HiTEC 419 additive is recommended for use at a treatment rate of 11.4% weight for GM DEXRON III
®
and GM DEXRON IID performance levels and can also be used at 5.7% weight treat for lower
performance level applications satisfied by ‘Type A Suffix A’ (TASA) fluids.
Features
®
When used in conjunction with appropriate base stocks, HiTEC 419 additive can be used to formulate
automatic transmission fluids that exceed the requirements of all the following passenger car and
commercial vehicle service fill specifications:
General Motors Type A Suffix A (TASA) CAT TO-2
General Motors DEXRON IID Allison C-4
