This represents pre-war Mogadishu, where the cultural

identity and texture of the city were intact and whole. Society
functioned harmoniously, and there was a strong sense of
unity and belonging among residents.

As the war intensifies, the fragmentation becomes more


pronounced. Different segments of society are divided,
leading to a loss of cultural coherence and unity in the city.

The final reassembly shows that Mogadishu's cultural identity


is being reconstructed, but it is not identical to the pre-war
version. It's a new, evolved form that merges the diverse
elements of society into a cohesive whole.
