    Grammar: Verb to be
    The “ verb to be” is a verb used to
    describe something or someone.

    In English, it can be used to say


    different things according to the
    context. However, the most common
    use of the to be verb is to talk about
    names, ages, feeling, nationalities,
    and professions, especially when
    talking in the present tense.
    For personal information

    My name is Peter.

    I am from England.
    For personal information

    She is Katy Perry.


    She is married.
    For personal information

    They are Paolo Guerrero and


    Jeffersson Farfan.

    They are from Peru.


    To talk about professions

    He is a pilot. She is a Business


    woman.
    To talk about professions
