Dystopian writing is a type of storytelling that describes a world
or society that is the opposite of perfect. Instead of being happy,
peaceful, or fair, the world in a dystopian story is usually dark,
unfair, and full of problems.
In these stories, the society often has strict rules, people may not
have freedom, and the government or powerful groups might
control everything. The goal of dystopian writing is often to
show what could happen if certain bad ideas or actions were
taken too far.
