ADVICE
Without axle suspension the vehicle height is 15 mm less than the value in the table.

Determination of the maximum height of your vehicle (figures on the previous pages)
1. Select your equipment variant in the first two rows (cab, roof)
2. Select the tyre size in the (Tyres) column
3. Read out the height data in the relevant column.
4. You can read out the vehicle width in the two first columns (Narrow, Wide).

Driving on slopes

DANGER
Uphill
Danger of accident
• Driving on a slope is dangerous
because the vehicle can tip over if
the centre of gravity exceeds the
tipping limit
• Use the vehicle only if slipping,
crashing or falling over is out of
the question
The following factors reduce the risk: Figure_183

– proper loading
– low centre of gravity
– low driving speed
– no climbing
– proper tyre pressure depending on the load
– large track width

ADVICE
The driving comfort and traction of the
vehicle can be increased by reducing
the tyre pressure.
We recommend the type of driving described in the
figure for turning on a slope.

ADVICE
After the engine has started, the di-

You can also switch to the new direction of travel

B A engine speed must reach at least 1500

B In drive programme position 3 or 4, the speed pre-

Motor oil for winter operation
1 Use motor oils with an appropriate specification.

Occasionally exceeding the temperature limits can
impair the cold starting ability of the engine, but
does not lead to engine damage.

Electrohydraulic implement relief • Lower thrust forces together with reduced fuel
consumption
• Improved stability on an incline
Floating position Implement relief
ADVICE
It only makes sense to use the im-
plement function for an implement
weight above 200 kg

Weight of Weight of
attachment attachment
C270_145

Without electrohydraulic implement relief, the at-

tached implement rests with its entire weight on
the ground in floating position.
With electrohydraulic implement relief, it is possible
to transfer part of the attached implement weight
to the carrier vehicle. This results in the following
advantages:
• Improvement of traction
• Better steering and tracking of the vehicle
• Less wear and tear, e.g. on the scraping blades
of a snowplow
