    Subject: Central Civil Services (leave) Rules, 1972 clariflcatlon/


    decision/amendments thereto.

    The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department's


    Office Memorandum No. Fin(C)A(3)-1/82 dated 8th October, 1986 vide
    which the Finance Department had delegated the powers to the
    Administrative Departments of the Government of Himachal Pradesh to
    grant study leave upto a period of 24 months in respect of the staff
    working in the Departments and subordinate offices under their
    control.
    Now, after careful consideration of the matter, the Governor,
    Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order that the powers delegated to the
    Administrative Departments for grant of Study Leave, vide Office
    Memorandum dated 8th October, 1986 are hereby withdrawn.
    Henceforth, all the cases for grant of Study Leave shall be decided at
    the level of Finance Department. ~ _
