Mobile Twinning
 The Mobile Twinning feature makes calls to a desk phone also ring a mobile
phone.

Enabling Mobile Call Control
 Enabling Mobile Call Control is done by checking the check box under the Mobility
tab of the User. It is only supported with the PRI-U, BRI, or SIP trunks

Feature Name Extension (FNE) Service
 The FNE service can be used by defining a Short Code. The FNE service is for
dialing in to the system to use system features and trunking without having a
Twinned call sent to your mobile phone.

FNE Service DID/DDI
 A User can call into the IP Office with their mobile phone using a specific DID/DDI
to use the FNE service.

One-X® Mobile
 An Incoming Call Route needs to be defined for each FNE code.

 The Feature Name Extension codes valid for the IP Office are published in a table.
 All FNE codes authorized for IP office in this table can be executed using the FNE
service.

FNE Permissions
 To be allowed access to the FNE service, the Twinned Mobile Number field must
match the User’s mobile phone telephone number that he/she uses to dial into the
FNE DID/DDI.

 One touch access to major functions
 An external twinned number must not be shared by
more than one internal user at the same time.

 As well as entering the external twinning number, as mentioned earlier, which
cannot be duplicated within the system, using the Avaya one-X® mobile application
requires appropriate approval for the internal user by checking the one-X® mobile
client check box.

 All features using the FNE service are given their own route in the Incoming Call
Routes.
 This contains the Short Code as a target which directs the call to the FNE service.

 When a user dials the right numbers or presses an icon on the one-X ® Mobile
application, the feature is then activated for the internal user whose external
twinning number matches the caller ID of the mobile phone activating the feature.

One-X® Mobile Preferred for IP Office
 The Avaya one-X® Mobile Preferred provide extended enterprise communications
on mobile devices.
 The application provides enterprise calling, messaging, voicemail, and
conferencing. These capabilities allow the corporate communication network to be
seamlessly extended to the mobile phones of employees.
 The Smartphone client application “one-X® Mobile Preferred for IP Office,” for
Android and iPhone can be obtained from their respective app stores.
 The client applications are free of charge but do require that the IP Office on which
they operate have Preferred Edition and the required number of Mobile Worker or
Power User licenses.
