NARRATIVE REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST
In the recent school vegetable gardening project, significant strides were made in land
preparation and planting, showcasing an impressive collaborative effort among teachers, pupils,
and parents. The program began with a thorough land preparation phase, where the community
came together to clear and till the soil, ensuring it was ready for cultivation. Teachers played a
crucial role in guiding the process, offering expertise on soil quality and planting techniques.
Pupils eagerly participated, learning valuable skills in gardening and contributing their energy to
the activity. Parents also provided essential support, assisting with manual labor and sharing
their gardening knowledge.
In order to maintain its cleanliness and sustainability, we agreed to have the Bayanihan
sa Gulayan that was participated with all the 4ps parents and PTA Board. Because we believe
that Gulayan sa Paaralan Program is not only a program of the School Coordinator but a
program of the entire school and the stakeholders, and that is why we work hand in hand for the
success of our program and for the school as well. This collective effort has not only yielded a
bountiful harvest of fresh vegetables but has also enriched the educational experience for our
students, offering them firsthand lessons in agriculture, responsibility, and teamwork.
As we reflect on this accomplishment, it is evident that our school garden is not merely a
collection of plants but a vibrant symbol of our community’s dedication and collaboration,
demonstrating the profound impact of working together towards a common goal.
