ACTIVITY 2
CLOUD DEPLOYMENT MODELS
A cloud deployment model is defined by where the infrastructure for the deployment is located and who
controls that infrastructure. The cloud deployment models denote the specific type of cloud environment based
on ownership, size, and access. It also describes the cloud's nature and purpose.
Types of Cloud Computing Deployment Models
Public Cloud :-
A public cloud is a model where third-party providers offer computing services, like storage, compute, and
applications, to individuals and organizations over the public internet. These services may be free or sold
on-demand, allowing customers to pay only per usage for the bandwidth, storage, or CPU cycles they
consume.

Private Cloud:-
A private cloud is a cloud computing environment dedicated to a single organization. Any cloud infrastructure
has underlying compute resources like CPU and storage that you provision on demand through a self-service
portal. In a private cloud, all resources are isolated and in the control of one organization. So, the private
cloud is also called the internal or corporate cloud.

Hybrid Cloud:-
A hybrid cloud is a computing environment that combines resources and services from multiple public and
private clouds. It allows different public and private clouds to work together to share data and processes.
