Over past few years, the globalization of the world economy has promoted the free

flow of goods across the borders of almost all countries in the world. In my opinion,
the penetration of foreign goods into local markets brings about more benefits than
poses risks to countries.
On the one hand, the availability of imported goods is good for the consumers.
trade collaboration has several advantages, one of the major benefits is that goods
are sold at a lower price. In fact, when a multinational company enters a new
market, they offer the highest-quality product at steep discounts in an effort to draw
clients. Similarly, the market of a country has many foreign companies investing,
companies will offer preferential prices to users to compete with other brands. So,
consumers can buy goods at reasonable prices. Moreover, the flow of goods
worldwide is beneficial to the world economy. With the development of global trade,
multinational companies can expand their business scale across many countries,
thereby attracting a large number of customers, creating huge profits and creating
jobs for many people. workers. As a result, it reduces unemployment in most
countries.
On the other hand, it is unquestionably detrimental to both the domestic economy
and local markets to use imported items. Multinational companies invest in trading
countries and attract large numbers of customers, which will reduce the profits of
local economic sectors. Furthermore, long-distance transport is a main contributor
to energy consumption and environmental disruption. For instance, emissions from
aircrafts have become a source of pollution, and greenhouse gases have built up in
the atmosphere, leading to extreme weather conditions, including unusually warm
conditions in some areas of the world.
In conclusion, this essay looked into two schools of thought about the impacts
global trade on economy. Personally, I am in favor of the view that there are more
advantages than disadvantages for nations when foreign products enter domestic
marketplaces.

Sustainable development has gradually become a growing concern in the age of

globalization. While some people believe that it is impossible to balance economic
growth and environmental protection, others agree with the opposite point of view.
This essay will examine both views and try to reach a conclusion
On the one hand, economic activity has a major negative impact on the
environment. Many developing countries are heavily relying on the exploitation of
natural resources to grow their economy. Developed countries will invest in
machinery and equipment to exploit minerals in developing countries where mineral
resources are rich. Therefore, emissions during the mining process will be released
and pollute the air and water sources. For instance, in Vietnam, the exploitation of
bauxite in the Central Highland has seriously destroyed the local environment.
Moreover, the growth of the tourism sector necessitates the building of
infrastructure and lodging to accommodate visitors; therefore, environmental harm,
such as the removal of trees for the construction of hotels and resorts, cannot be
prevented. For example, all the waste thrown away by tourists pollutes Vietnam’s
pristine national parks, historical sites, and tourist attractions.
On the other hand, advocates of this issue are of the opinion that economic and
environment sustainability is achievable. In their view, the use of environmentally
friendly materials, and the construction of high-tech waste treatment during the
production process can be encouraged by the government to keep the environment
clean. For example, New Zealand produces most of its energy from hydroelectric
and geothermal sources, allowing the country to run its industries without
generating much carbon dioxide. Furthermore, the issue of air pollution from car
exhaust fumes can be decreased with the introduction of electric vehicles as a
gasoline substitute. As a result, this can both safeguard the environment and
advance the growth of the automotive sector.
In conclusion, this essay looked into two schools of thought about the impacts of
economically successful on environmental. Personally, I am in favor of the view that
it is totally achievable for a nation to grow their economy without affecting the
environment and the government must introduce strict regulations in production
and economic development to avoid affecting the environment

Task1:
The graph illustrates data about how many people took part in basketball, tennis,
badminton, and rugby in a particular region between 1985 and 2005.
Overall, the number of people who played tennis was subject to a sharp increase,
but the figure for rugby players saw a remarkable fall and that of basketball players
and badminton players remained unchanged.
As can be seen from the graph, people were most likely to participate in rugby, at
about 250, which was fivefold the number of Badminton players, at 50. Meanwhile,
tennis was the second popular with players, at 150, which was about three times
the number of basketball players, at 60.
In the following 10 years until 1995, the number of people who participate in Rugby
saw a slight fall from 250 to 200. Moreover, the figure for tennis players rose
sharply to 200, while basketball players and badminton players remained
unchanged, at 60 ad 50, respectively.
Between 1995 and 2005, the number of rugbies witnessed a sharp decline to 50 in
2005, whereas the number of tennis players increased markedly to 230. Moreover,
the figure for basketball players and badminton players leveled off at 60 and 50,
respectively.
