CHAPTER I
Introduction
The development of social skills is very important for a student’s education, especially
for those who want a career in marketing. Grade 12 students in the Accountancy,
Business, and Management (ABM) track are getting ready to enter the business and
commerce world, where good communication skills are crucial. Acknowledgement about
the implications of product promotion in an acquired social skills among these students,
specifically those who have prior selling experience or young entrepreneurs will ensure
the success of their existing or future businesses; preparing them for the challenges
ahead.
Social skills are the ability to successfully interact with others and to navigate difficult
social situations in a manner that predicts continued success (McDaniel et al. 2022).
Other studies also suggest that entrepreneurs’ social skills specific competencies that help
them interact effectively with others may also play a role in their success (Baron,
Mekman, 2021). Not only does it support the development of long-term connections with
especially for those young people or students who are just starting out in business and are
From the previous studies, the researchers conclude that by implementing the right
