• The energy storage system adopts lithium iron phosphate batteries, which have
four major characteristics: high safety, ultra-long cycle life, superior rate charging
and discharging performance, and green pollution-free. It is currently the preferred
choice for automotive power batteries and energy storage batteries
• Large battery storage capacity and high conversion efficiency;
• Adopting a technologically advanced BMS, which can detect real-time voltage
and temperature of individual cells, as well as multiple parameters such as total
Battery container body: including cabinet and internal auxiliary functions. Including
overall internal rack load-bearing design, heat dissipation design, lighting function, thermal
insulation function, cabinet dust-proof, waterproof, insect and rodent proof, meeting IP54
protection level, etc., to meet applications in various complex environments.
Automatic fire extinguishing system: an automatic fire extinguishing system mainly
made of aerosols, equipped with automatic alarm devices. Once a fire is detected, the
electrical connection between the container and external equipment can be disconnected in a
timely manner, and the fire extinguishing device can be activated to upload the alarm
information to the background monitoring system, with linkage function.

Dehumidification system: The battery system adopts semiconductor refrigeration
dehumidification method, actively sucking the humid air in the enclosed space into the
dehumidification duct under the action of the fan. The water vapor in the air is condensed
into water after passing through the semiconductor refrigeration mechanism, and then
discharged from the cabinet through the water conduit, providing a suitable temperature and
humidity environment for the interior of the battery container.

batteries, each consisting of 8 battery modules. Each battery module is composed of 52
314Ah cells connected in series, and the rated energy of each battery cluster is 417.996kWh.
The rated energy of the battery container is 5.015MWh (12 clusters). From battery cells to
battery arrays, modular and standardized integrated designs are adopted. The battery system
adopts a three-level BMS control architecture, providing reliable battery balancing, safety
management, thermal management, and comprehensive monitoring methods.
Confluence control cabinet: an intermediate unit connecting the high-voltage box and
PCS, equipped with battery system bus-bar isolation switch+ fuse, BAU, power supply, and
distribution inside the container. The design of the integrated bus-bar control cabinet has fully
considered the electrical characteristics, heat dissipation performance, safety performance,
and operability and maintainability of each component. Equipped with CAN, RS-485, RJ45

The high-voltage box is the management unit of the high-voltage power circuit, which is
the intermediate unit connecting the battery cluster and the energy storage converter. The
high-voltage box has IP54 protection and functions such as collecting battery cluster voltage
and current, controlling and protecting the battery cluster circuit contactor. Install circuit
breakers, contactors, fuses, circulating current control circuits, current sensors, battery cluster
control management modules (BCUs), switch power supplies, etc. inside the high-voltage

3.4.2. Battery Management System Functions
1. Analog measurement function: capable of real-time measurement of individual cell
voltage, temperature, battery module voltage, battery cluster terminal voltage, current and
other parameters. Ensure the safe, reliable, and stable operation of batteries, guarantee the
required service life of individual batteries, and meet the optimization control requirements
for the operation of individual batteries and battery packs.
2. Online SOC diagnosis: Based on real-time data collection, multiple segmented
processing methods are used to establish an expert mathematical analysis diagnostic model,
and the remaining SOC of each battery is measured online. At the same time, intelligent
calibration of SOC prediction is carried out based on battery discharge current and
environmental temperature, providing battery remaining capacity and reliable usage time that
are more in line with changing loads.
3. Battery system operation alarm function: When the battery system encounters
overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, high temperature, low temperature, communication
abnormality, BMS abnormality and other states during operation, it can display and report
alarm information (within 300ms).
4. Battery system protection function: Display and report protection information (within
300ms) in case of serious overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent (short circuit), abnormal
temperature rise rate, voltage mutation and other abnormal faults that may occur during
operation of the battery. Quickly cut off the battery circuit through the high-voltage control
unit, isolate the fault point, timely output sound and light alarm information, fire linkage, etc.,
to ensure safe and reliable operation of the system.
5. Communication function: The battery management system should have the function
of exchanging information with EMS, PCS, other management level battery management
systems, and have the function of exchanging information with fire protection systems,
thermal management systems, and other equipment.
6. Thermal management function: Through linkage control with the liquid cooling unit,
the thermal management function of the battery pack is achieved; If the temperature reaches
the set danger value, the battery management system will automatically link with the system
protection mechanism to promptly cut off the battery circuit and ensure system safety.
7. Self diagnosis and fault tolerance function: The battery management system adopts
advanced self fault diagnosis and fault tolerance technology, which has self checking
function for the module's own software and hardware. Even if internal faults or device
damage occur, it will not affect the safe operation of the battery. It will not cause the energy
storage system to malfunction or even lead to battery damage or malignant accidents due to
battery management system failures.
8. BMS has self diagnostic function, which can diagnose faults such as communication
interruption between BMS and the outside world, abnormal internal communication of BMS,
and abnormal analog acquisition, and can report them to the local monitoring system.
9. Balance function: Passive balance.
10. Operation parameter setting function: BMS operation parameters should be able to
be modified remotely or locally through BMS or energy storage station monitoring system,
and some parameter modifications require password confirmation.
11. Local operating status display function: BMS can display various operating statuses
of the battery system locally, such as system status, analog information, alarm and protection
information, etc.
The automatic fire protection system can be divided into aerosol fire extinguishing
system, explosion-proof exhaust system, and emergency water spray. When the battery loses
control of heat and causes combustible gas leakage, the explosion-proof exhaust system
responds in a timely manner to exhaust and exchange air; When a fire occurs, the fire
extinguishing system quickly intervenes to detect, alarm, and extinguish the fire; If the fire
spreads or reignites, and the fire extinguishing system cannot control the fire, emergency
water sprinklers can be connected for emergency disposal to prevent serious consequences
such as explosions and fires
3.6.2. Working principle of fire protection system
When the smoke or temperature detector inside the battery container alarms, the sound
and light alarm outside the battery container will immediately activate to remind personnel to
respond; When smoke and temperature detectors simultaneously detect a fire or manually
activate the release station, the sound and light alarm and alarm bell will sound to remind on-
site personnel to evacuate. The gas fire extinguishing controller will delay for 30 seconds
(adjustable) and send a 24V electrical signal to the fire extinguishing device, which will start,
implement fire extinguishing, and provide feedback signals. If the gas emergency stop button
at the cabin door is pressed during the 30 second delay period, the gas spraying operation will
be canceled and the system will reset.
If the fire spreads or reignites, and the fire extinguishing system cannot control the fire,
emergency water sprinklers can be connected for emergency disposal to prevent serious
consequences such as explosions and fires. The logic control flowchart is shown in the
following figure.
