Projection of Points (Sheet No.

2)
Q1. . A point P is 40 mm above H.P. and 30 mm in front of V.P. Another point R is 50 mm
below H.P. and 35 mm behind V.P. The end projectors for these points are 40 mm apart.
Draw the projectors of the points.

Projection of Lines (Sheet No.2)

Q1. A line PQ, 50 mm long has one of its ends A, 30 mm above H.P. and 20 mm in front of
V.P. The line is parallel to both planes. Draw its projections.

Q2. A line AB, 60 mm long makes an angle of 45˚ to the H.P. Its end A is 10 mm above H.P.
and 15 mm in front of V.P. Draw the top view and front view of the line AB.

Q3. A line LM, 65 mm long is inclined at 40˚ to the V.P. and parallel to the H.P. Its end L is
15 mm in front of V.P. and 25 mm above H.P. Draw the projections of line LM.

Q4. A line CD, 70 mm long is perpendicular to H.P. Its end C is 15 mm away from H.P. and
18 mm away from V.P. The line is parallel to V.P. Draw its projections in First and Third
Quadrants.

Q5. A line PQ, 70 mm long is inclined at 30˚to H.P. and 45˚to V.P. Its end P is 18 mm above
H.P. and 12 mm in front of V.P. Draw the projections of line PQ.

Projection of Planes (Sheet No.3)

Q1. A square plane ABCD of 40 mm side is parallel to H.P. and is 20 mm from it. One of
its side, CD is at a distance of 20 mm from V.P. Draw the projections of the plane in the
first quadrant.

Q2. A regular pentagonal plane PQRST of 30 mm side has one of its sides in H.P. The
plane is parallel and 20 mm in front of V.P. Draw its projections.

Q3. A triangle PQR of 40 mm side is parallel to and 15 mm in front of V.P. Its corner P is
20 mm above H.P. The side PQ is inclined at 15˚to H.P. Draw its projections.

Q4. A regular hexagonal plane PQRSTU 30 mm side rests on H.P. Its one side is inclined
to V.P. at 45. Draw the projections of the plane.
