SPILLOVER OF COVID-19: IMPACT ON THE GLOBAL ECONOMY

SUMMARY OF ARTICLE:
• In short, the purpose of this article is to provide information on world issues namely Covid-
19 while facing the impact on the global economy. Overall, in this article the researchers affect
the statement of the problems of all countries to this Covid-19 pandemic. They are all focused
on the economic sector. In this article there are several effects namely Global Spillover, Fast
Policy Response to General, Fast Response Policy to Issue and Empirical Analysis to Impact of
Social Avoid Policy. While there are some implications for the global economy, many
governments make quick policy decisions that limit the positive and negative effects on the
economy of their respective countries. In addition, to all members of parliament in each
country helps to delay political activities and social distance from each other, harming the
consequences of social distance to the economy.
• This article also emphasizes how some government leaders in each country manage policy
issues or challenges regarding the Covid-19 threat.

ISSUE ON ARTICLE:

 The problem that has been discussed in this article is, the Covid-19 spill affected all
economic activities carried out nationwide. During Covid-19, all countries experienced
economic recession. There are even countries that need help from neighboring countries.
For example, with the overflowing implications, demand and supply are no longer stable
and then decline. The impact of the Global Spillover has created opportunities for the
travel industry, the hospitality industry, the sports industry, import-dependent countries,
the financial markets, an entertainment industry, the education sector to expand and
expand.
 The second issue in this article, is about two key decisions that are difficult for all countries
to choose from. Which means 'save the people before saving the economy' and 'save the
economy before saving the people'. Some countries that still want their economies to
continue to thrive will choose to save the economy before saving the people. The opposite
is also true.
 The third issue is that monetary policy cannot drive their own demand without supporters,
but unfortunately economic agents are unable to carry out economic activities.
 The last issue is that the government fails to manage the failures of small and large
businesses that do not survive the coronavirus epidemic due to the social exclusion policy
and lock-in restrictions imposed by the government. This spoils the income of others who
have a business. Obviously when the MCO was done, many workers had to be laid off
because the company did not want to bear the cost of labor.

AUTHOR OPINION ABOUT THE ARTICLE:

 In this article, as an article, researchers have found evidence Spillover Of Covid-19 is Its
Impact on the Global Economy. In addition, in this article the author has divided the
content into several sections with detailed information. In addition, there is new evidence
that they found in 2020 about the recession will affect until next year which is 2021 years
for recovery time. There are several types that cause the economic downturn used by the
author but as we have seen the most prominent fact used is in the Global Spillover section.
Although each part has its strengths but this part looks prominent. Finally, the author also
emphasizes on not throwing away the coronavirus crisis. This is because we can see how
our government controls and moves into our economic sector. It is hoped that each
country will be able to overcome this problem in stages.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE ISSUE:

 Overall, for this article all the content is nice and easy for me to understand. Moreover,
there are still shortcomings in this article. Which author should include a graph to make
the information of each country clearer. All types of graphics can be displayed from 2019
& 2020 on the impact on the global economy. Furthermore, it is better to add a positive
effect than a negative impact on the country on the global economic impact of this
Spillover of Covid-19.
 In addition, this article spreads the importance of economic improvement to society.
