Job Objectives To oversee the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of our remote monitoring systems
(RMS) for all site. Oversee routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel
generators to ensure proper functioning and longevity, Diagnose and resolve complex
technical issues related to diesel generators in a timely manner. Understand electric system
components and activities, Contact personnel and departments to resolve issues.

Duties/Responsibilities/Ac  Monitor and analyze data from remote monitoring systems (RMS) to ensure the
countabilities efficient operations of telecom sites
 Identify and troubleshoot issues related to RMS alerts, equipment failures, power
outages, and environmental conditions.
 Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of RMS equipment to ensure optimal
performance and reliability.
 Utilize RMS tools and software to track and optimize diesel consumption per
telecom tower
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance optimization
strategies based on RMS data analysis.
 Provide technical expertise in diesel generator operations, including maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repairs.
 Oversee routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel generators to
ensure proper functioning and longevity.
 Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to diesel generators in a timely
manner.
 Maintain accurate records of RMS data, generator maintenance activities, and
performance metrics
 Identify and prioritize TowerCo field operations maintenance and power
maintenance
 Support department activities as part of larger Power and Recovery team.
 Understand electric system components and activities, Contact personnel and
departments to resolve issues.
 Check power system reliability to maximize performance level..
 Analyze Systems Operations data and systems. Attend to all sites to resolve any
power issues and restore system.
 To provide a remote and on-site diagnosis of faults from the office via remote access
and customer liaison.
 Check power system reliability to maximize site's performance level.
 Contact personnel and departments to resolve all power related issues.
 Support department activities as part of larger power and recovery team.
 Identify maintenance priorities and handle maintenance and Engineering
department's
 Maintain high technical standards and efficiency within the dept.
 Ensure that customer expectations are well managed in projects delivery.
 Maintain accurate records of RMS data, generator maintenance activities, and
performance metrics.
 Provide training and guidance to field technicians on RMS operation, generator
maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
 Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to remote monitoring
systems, telecom tower operations, and diesel generator technology.
 Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing duties related to RMS
maintenance, generator operations, and maintenance.
 Ensure that project team roles and responsibilities are clearly understood, agreed to,
and executed upon.
 Communicate progress with all stakeholders and Write weekly, monthly and
quarterly reports
 To contribute to strategic planning of the organization.

Educational Qualification ND, HND or Degree in Mechanical, Elect-Elect, Computer


Engineering or related field
Professional Qualification Minimum of 5 Years with at least 3 years in Telecoms Industry

Experience (Dimension and No. Minimum of 5 years post NYSC work experience
of Years)
Age Bracket 25 – 38 years
